Brain Dump is a tool made by Rachelle Nicole (Glitter Brain). It is built so your thoughts stay yours. Here is exactly what happens with your information.

What stays on your phone

Everything you type is saved in your phone's browser storage so the app works instantly, even with no signal. The sorting happens on your phone too. Your notes are never sent to me or to any AI service.

Google Sheets (optional)

If you choose "Sign in with Google," Brain Dump asks Google for one permission: to create and edit files that Brain Dump itself makes (Google calls this drive.file). The app uses it to create one spreadsheet called "My Brain Dump" in your Google Drive and to add, update, and remove your notes in that sheet. It cannot see, open, or change any other file in your Drive.

Your sign in is handled by Google. Brain Dump never sees your Google password. A small helper on this website trades Google's sign in code for an access pass so you stay connected. It does not store your notes or your access pass. That pass is kept on your phone only.

Brain Dump's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Your Google data is never sold, shared, used for ads, or used to train AI.

What I collect

Nothing about your notes. Like most websites, the hosting service (Netlify) may keep basic technical logs such as IP addresses for security. If you bought Brain Dump, your purchase details are handled by the checkout platform under its own privacy policy.
